Zouk at Home – Indian & Pakistani Spices, Recipes & Cooking

Zouk at Home

Shop Zouk spices, discover recipes and learn how to cook bold Indian and Pakistani-inspired food at home. Zouk at Home is the ecommerce side of Zouk: a place for spice tins, curated collections, cooking inspiration, food gifts and experiences.

Our family roots are in Lahore and Punjab in Pakistan, and our family has been involved in food and restaurants in Britain since 1979. That heritage, together with decades of professional kitchen experience, shapes the flavours behind the Zouk spice range.

Shop by what you want to cook

You do not need to know every spice before you begin. Start with the dish you want to make and choose the blend that fits it.

  • Biryani Masala – fragrant chicken, lamb and vegetable biryani.
  • Garam Masala – curries, dals, marinades and grilled dishes.
  • Chaat Masala – chaat, fruit, potatoes, yoghurt, salads, fries and snacks.
  • Pilau Rice Seasoning – fragrant basmati and pilau rice.
  • Piri Piri – spicy chicken, fish, vegetables, fries and barbecue food.

The family story behind the flavours

Our family originates from Lahore and Punjab. Our grandfather came to the UK in the 1950s, our father arrived in the 1960s, and our family opened its first restaurant in Bradford in 1979. Zouk was established in 2006 and our Manchester site opened in 2009.

Our mother and grandmothers were major influences on our cooking, and the Zouk kitchen has also drawn on chefs with experience from different parts of India and the wider subcontinent, including Sri Lanka. We use that background as the authority behind the products and recipes on this shop — not as a replacement for the restaurant website.
