Easy tandoori chicken at home
Tandoori chicken is one of the easiest ways to turn a simple piece of chicken into something aromatic, smoky and full of flavour. This home-friendly method uses Zouk Tandoori Masala to take the guesswork out of building the spice mix from scratch.
Ingredients
- 600g chicken thighs or chicken breast pieces
- 150g natural yoghurt
- 2 to 3 teaspoons Zouk Tandoori Masala
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- 1 teaspoon grated garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Salt to taste
Method
- Mix the yoghurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, oil, garlic and ginger in a bowl.
- Add the chicken and coat thoroughly.
- Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Overnight gives a deeper flavour.
- Remove from the fridge shortly before cooking.
- Cook until the chicken is fully cooked through and lightly charred at the edges.
How to cook it
