Zouk Hot BBQ Rub Mix is a rich aromatic blend of smoky, spicy, and tangy spices and herbs. There’s an extra bit of bite for those that like it that bit hotter!
The coarseness of the rub means that it is a good way to add surface texture to steaks and perhaps the best way to make a flavourful crust on smoked brisket.
Rub the mix onto meat or vegetables before cooking. This technique seasons and flavours the meat while helping to seal the juices inside the cut. Adding a dry rub to your meat gives you a crispy outside and a delectable inside. Alternatively for the perfect marinade add a splash of oil to 2-3 teaspoons of the rub.

Easy to apply and use, great for marinating meats and using as a dry rub on ribs. Very tasty has a slight Smokey flavour with a little kick. perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again
I knew immediately that spices made for BBQ would be something I really like to use and thankfully I was right though I couldn't exactly test it in a proper BBQ way for a while but then suddenly had an idea and so I rubbed a little bit onto one side of a big frozen beef burger before putting it in the oven then once it came time to flip them over did the same on the other side. To my surprise the juices (or whatever) from the burger caused the spices to absorb into the burger really well resulting in something incredibly tasty.I've used them on burgers a couple more times after that but other things I have tested it with were chicken (as a marinade) since I noted the product images and also like I did with another zouk spice I tried using it for pasta Bolognese but in this case I added it to the mince while I was cooking it, I imagine you could get really creative if you also added spices to the pasta/spaghetti and the sauce respectively so its a fun thing to mess with.With how much I feel it improved the dishes I used it in this has a huge recommendation from me, I believe its very much worth its current cost.
A delicious BBQ style rub that has some Indian flavours coming through. A very interesting and unique blend of spices that have made some delicious grilled meat. I will be getting more one it runs out, very tasty and different from what you find at the shops!
The pack contains 60g of hot spices but I found you don’t need that much to give a tasty, warming kick to your meat.I rubbed on enough mix to coat four chicken thighs and then popped them into the air fryer and cooked as normal. The chicken skin was nice and crispy with a delicious ‘kick’. I can’t say how much rub I actually used, but there is plenty left in the pack. This is definitely not a problem as the pack is resealable and also has a long shelf life until September 2026.Recommended.
This is a really lovely rub- tastes absolutely amazing and not just on BBQ but as a general marinade. I like that this has a more homemade vibe- supporting small businesses. It was presented professionally and I would buy this again
