Looking for an Indian cooking class in Manchester?
A good cooking class should give you more than a recipe sheet. It should help you understand techniques, flavour-building and how to recreate dishes confidently at home.
Zouk’s cookery-school programme in Manchester is designed around hands-on learning. Guests use their own cooking station, prepare dishes alongside Zouk chefs and sit down afterwards to enjoy the food they have created.
What happens during the class?
Current Zouk classes run from 10am until approximately 1.30pm. The exact menu changes by theme, but sessions can include marinades, kebabs, curry sauces, rice, street food and regional Indian or Pakistani dishes.
At the end of the session, the dishes are served together as a banquet. Guests also receive an easy-to-follow recipe pack so they can recreate the food at home.
Do I need cooking experience?
No. Zouk’s chefs guide guests through the dishes step by step, so the classes are suitable for people who enjoy food but do not consider themselves expert cooks.
Which class should I choose?
If you enjoy familiar curry-house favourites, look at British Favourites. For Punjabi flavours, choose a Punjabi Masterclass. Signature Dishes focuses on popular Zouk dishes, while regional sessions explore places such as Mumbai, Old Delhi and the food traditions between Lahore and Lucknow.
