Mumbai Masterclass
Saturday 10 October 2026 - 10am to 1.30pm
Discover the bold, colourful flavours of one of India’s most exciting food cities with our new Mumbai Masterclass. From bustling street-food stalls to coastal cooking and richly spiced curries, Mumbai is a city shaped by people and flavours from across India.
In this hands-on class, our chefs will introduce you to some of the dishes and techniques that define Mumbai cooking. You’ll learn how to prepare crisp, spicy starters before building fragrant masalas and curries from scratch on the hob.
What Will You Learn?
Mumbai’s food is all about layers of flavour. During the class you will learn how to create marinades, balance chilli and spice, prepare meat and seafood for frying or sautéing and build a curry sauce using fresh aromatics and toasted spices.
The session is designed to be as hands-on as possible, so you will have your own cooking station and prepare the dishes alongside our chefs.
Our chefs will also explain how ingredients and techniques can be adapted at home, giving you recipes you’ll want to make again and again.
