Lahore to Lucknow

Saturday 12 December 2026 - 10am to 1.30pm

Take a culinary journey between two cities with very different but equally celebrated food traditions.

Lahore is famous for its lively food streets, bold spices, grilled meats and generous flavours. Lucknow, meanwhile, is the home of refined Awadhi cuisine, developed in royal kitchens and known for delicate spice blends, tender meats and aromatic slow-cooked dishes.

Our new Lahore to Lucknow class brings these two traditions together - with an added festive twist for December.

What Will You Learn?

During the class you will explore contrasting cooking techniques from Lahore and Lucknow.

You’ll learn how to prepare and fry a traditional Lahori-style fish dish, shape and cook spiced kebabs, create aromatic marinades and build a richly flavoured curry from scratch.

Because this class takes place just before Christmas, our chefs will also show you how to turn the flavours of the region into an impressive festive centrepiece.

You will learn how to prepare a whole roast chicken using a raan-inspired marinade, packed with yoghurt, ginger, garlic and warming spices, together with a spicy Indian gravy.

It is a dish designed to be recreated at home as an alternative Christmas roast or for festive entertaining.
