Golden Turmeric 1kg

I love this company, have tried several of their spices and products now. This is a really big pack of resealable turmeric. Great for my indian curries, great for making authentic flavours. Quality packaging that can stay fresh in the cupboard after I've decanted it into my spice rack.

A large sachet of turmeric 1kg fine powder seems good value for money, currently £9.59 per kilo.It's intense colour and specific taste gives the food sunny colour and rutty flavour. It's very healthy and we should include it in daily cooking.However it's not organic product and information on the packaging is minimal so we can only wonder where exactly it's from and how it was made...It has best before date marked at 2027 so long time to use it, which is good.

A pack of 1kg turmeric powder came properly sealed. The resealable bag is handy to use to ensure freshness. The powder has a fine texture and consistent vibrant gold colour. I rubbed a small amount on my palm and it leaves yellowish colour on my skin. It has a unique earthy aroma. The only ingredient of this product is labeled turmeric, nothing else. All these features seem to indicate this is pure and high quality turmeric.

I've used quite a few spices and seasonings from this store and have never been disappointed. This time, I tried the Authentic Indian Turmeric Powder, which comes in a generous 1 kg pack and smells incredibly fresh and organic. The aroma and taste are wonderfully earthy and warm, comparable to my regular high-quality brand. While the price is a bit on the higher side, the quality and excellent packaging make it well worth it.

You get a large resealable pouch with good quality turmeric powder in, finely ground.It's spot on, especially for the price, though be aware that a kilo of turmeric will last you a LONG time, even if you cook/bake heavily with it. Though with a long shelf date (ours had more than 2 years to run) it shouldn't be a problem as long as you store it in a proper box
