The Story of Biryani

More than just a meal, biryani is a dish with deep cultural roots. Originating from the Indian subcontinent, it's long been associated with celebrations, weddings, and festivals. Every community has its own version – its own story – making biryani a dish as diverse as it is delicious.

At Zouk, we cook our biryani Sindhi-style, using a traditional layering method in a sealed bread-topped pot. As the dish cooks, steam and spices mingle to infuse every grain of rice with irresistible aroma and depth of flavour. The result? A biryani worth gathering for.
